About our beliefs

We believe that the fullness of God’s love and compassion toward fallen man is revealed in Jesus Christ. In the beginning, man (Adam) chose to disobey God. In that act of disobedience, man lost his close relationship with his Creator. Throughout the ages, man has tried everything to restore that relationship or to replace it with whatever was available.

Jesus became that One who would pay the price to reconcile man back to God. Jesus Christ was crucified and died on Calvary to pay a terrible price for man’s sin. He was buried in a borrowed tomb and miraculously rose from the dead, according to the scriptures. Through His death, burial, and resurrection we have the hope of salvation.

We believe in the miraculous God doing things that only He can do. He is God, and He is sovereign in every situation. God created the Heaven and the Earth and all things therein. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, too hard or too easy for our God. We are witnesses of Biblical happening as the Lord does the work.

 About our church

Our church is located in Auburn , Maine , and we are reaching out to Auburn , Lewiston , and the surrounding communities. Our hope and passion is to see souls healed, lives restored, relationships put back together, and people reconciled to God. Beyond this, our goal is to help as many as we can and encourage them to flourish in the Kingdom of God . Each person is important, and each has special talents and abilities that contribute to each other. We look forward to serving our church family as well as our community.

We are excited about having just purchased a building for own church. Much work is being done to make it ready for church services. This will give us quite a bit more space and allow us to do many things for our church family and our community.

We are striving to be the “salt of the Earth”.

About our pastor and his family

Pastor Herbert Rea and his wife Tina, along with their family have been ministering in Auburn and Lewiston Since June of 1997. We began church services in our home and have moved to larger locations as God has blessed us. As a ministering family, we have been in awe of what God has accomplished as we’ve given Him our talents, abilities and anything else He could use. Bringing a message of hope and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to our communities remains our first calling.
